ELEMENTAL SULFUR

AN IMPORTANT PLANT NUTRIENT

Powdered sulfur breaks down lime in the soil, allowing the nutrients plants need (phosphorus, iron, manganese, zinc) to be released and taken up by the plant. It increases yield, increases the soil's resistance to thirst and drought, and increases plants' resistance to cold and winter frost. It softens the soil and makes it loosen. It makes the soil easier to work. It is preferred for combating pH (lowering lime level, removing salinity), for sulfur supplementation of the soil, and for early ripening of produce in greenhouse cultivation.
